Wildlife Calendar
If you are keen to see penguins and other wildlife then you have to make sure you plan your trip for the right time of year. The penguins arrive in September and leave in March. For us this was perfect timing as we wanted to see the penguins, but also wanted to escape the cold weather in the UK.
One of the benefits of travelling to Chubut province to see penguins is the weather! We visited in early November which is spring in Argentina and the weather was warm and sunny, but windy. It is much warmer than Ushuaia in the very far south of Patagonia.
